Excited to ride with Susannah

Well, there still hasn't been much training riding occurring, but I now have a training partner. My wife Susannah will be riding the tour this year and has gotten herself a new bike to ride with me. We've been going to the gym and working out several times a week, our vacation cut into our good work, but we'll be back at it this week. I have recently had problems with my knee, but I went to the doc and she shot it full of drugs so I should be good to go in a few days... even if I'm not, I'm gonna get on the road anyway.

Baby it's cold outside

So the recent rides have been very short for the most part. I kicked off my training with a ride with the Spiritual Spinners and completed a 20 mile ride with them for my first road ride with my new bike. It was a good ride, but we were confronted by several goats that we had to avoid. The other rides I have gone on were short 4 mile rides trying to brave the cold. Since the temperature hasn't really been above 50 degrees, it's been tough to brave the cold, but I have faith that it will get a bit warmer and that I will be able to get some riding done and hopefully start riding to school.
